Scope

1.1 This standard covers essentially the principles for design and installation of vertical lime kilns of the mixed-feed type. 1.2 This code does not cover oil and gas fired lime kilns. 1.3 The fuels that may be used are coal, coke, cinder and charcoal ( mainly for shell burning ).
