Scope

This standard ( Part II ) covers general and minimum performance requirements of ac and/or battery operated twin-track, mono-aural sound recording and reproducing equipment utilizing twin hub cassette, primarily used for entertainment purposes. 1.1.1 The tape recorder part of a combined unit such as radio receiver cum tape recorder or radio receiver cum record player cum tape recorder is also covered by this standard.
