Scope

1.1 This standard covers the pin-hole camera method of measurement of dimensions of optical focal spots of X-ray tubes having focal spots of 0·3 mm and greater. Note— Other methods, not specified in this standard, have to be used for focal spots smaller than 0·3 mm.
