1.1 This standard lays down the methods of test and general requirements applicable to intermediate frequency (IF ) transformers and radio frequency (RF) coils used in electronic and telecommunication equipment.
1.1.1 The following components are covered by this standard:
a) IF transformers — single tuned or double tuned, and
b) RF coils — coils of single or double winding meant for use in tuned circuits, such as antenna coils and oscillator coils.
