Scope

Specifies the tolerances for boundary dimensions ( except chamfer dimensions ) and running accuracy of radial rolling bearings. 1.1 Different tolerance values may be specified for radial rolling bearings of particular types or for particular fields of application. 1.2 Limits for chamfer dimensions are covered in IS : 5934 'Chamfer dimensions limits for rolling bearings ( first revision )'. 1.3 This standard does not apply to tapered roller bearings and thrust bearings.
