Scope

1.1 This standard describes the details of four methods for the measurement of carbon monoxide in air. 1.1.1 The indicator tube method is recommended for routine use whereas the iodine pentoxide method, non-dispersive infrared absorption method and gas chromatographic method are recommended for use as reference methods and where laboratory facilities are available.
