Scope

This standard deals with brazed low carbon steel cylinders intended for storage and trans-portation of low pressure liquefiable gases, other than toxic gases, of nominal capacity exceeding 500 ml but not exceeding 13 litres of water capacity. This standard lays down the requirements for the materials to be used in the manufacture of cylinders, their construction, markinsg and testing.
