Scope

This International Standard specifies a method for the determination of glycosidic hydrocyanic acid in pulses. The method is generally applicable but may require modification if sulphides or certain other sulphur compounds are present. Conversely, if no such compounds are present, a mercurimetric titration procedure may be used, details of which are given in the annex.
