Scope

Specifies the limits of sizes tor ISO metric screw threads in the diameter range 1 to 52 mm for commercial bolts and nuts. 1.1 Unless otherwise agreed, for threads requiring surface treatment the limits for thread sizes are applicable before the introduction of protective coating. The threads with surface treatment, including phosphating, should not transgress at any place the thread profile at the GO side of the H or h tolerance position.
