This standard covers the selection of dairy floor finishes, where the floor is subjected to heavy abrasion and impact from machinery and attack from milk and milk products and detergents used in cleaning the floor. Guidance is also given for selection when the floor finish under special circumstances should be non-slippery, dustless, noiseless and capable of being easily cleaned.
