Scope

This standard specifies a method for the volumetric determination of the total lead content of gasoline and other volatile distillates blended with lead alkyls (tetraethyl lead, tetramethyl lead, trimethylethyl lead dimethyl-diethyl lead, methyltriethyl lead, or mixtures thereof) within the concentra-tion range of 0.05 to 1.1 g of lead per litre.
