Scope

1.1 This specification deals with the electrical characteristics of alternating current mains-operated synchronous clocks for voltages not exceeding 250 V. The clocks are intended for indoor use and may be of the selfstarting or manual starting types. 1.1.1 It does not apply to timing mechanisms for domestic appliances or other uses.
