Scope

This standard prescribes the methods of preparing sample and tests for raw styrene-butadiene rubbers for their volatile matter content ( SBR : 1 and SBR: 2), total ash content (SBR: 3), organic acid content (SBR: 4), soap content ( SBR : 5 ), antioxidants (SBR: 6), bound styrene content ( SBR : 7 ), and Mooney viscosity ( SBR : 8 ).
