Scope

1.1 This standard prescribes the requirements and methods of sampling and test for motor gasoline, 83 and 93 octane, suitable for use as a fuel in automobile spark-ignition internal combustion engines. 1.1.1 This standard does not apply to blends of hydrocarbon fuels with power alcohol or benzole.
