Scope

1.1 This standard (Part II) deals with the use of piezoelectric ceramic filters to ensure their optimum performance. 1.2 The scope of this standard is limited to passive band-pass filters operating over the frequency range from a few kHz to more than 10 MHz which are commercially available as separate and independent units. Filters, which are integrated into a larger system, are not considered here. Filters considered in this standard are limited to two-port filters using passive linear elements.
