Scope

This standard ( Part 1 ) covers range of non-portable lighting fittings of flameproof construction, intended for use where explosive mixtures of air and flammable gases or vapour may occur. This part deals with fittings using well-glasses or bulkhead type, of both dished and flat design and includes flood light type of fittings.
