1.1 This standard prescribes the methods of test for coal carbonization, namely agglutinating or caking index, swelling properties and Gray-King low temperature (L.T.) assay coke types.
1.2 Should any inconsistency exist between the requirements, given in this standard and those, if any, given in standards for individual materials, the latter shall prevail.
