Scope

1.1 This standard ( Part I ) covers general requirements for cast iron specials to be used with asbestos-cement pressure pipes for water, gas and sewage. 1.2 This standard ( Part I) is applicable to cast iron specials for use with asbestos-cement pressure pipes suitable for connection with cast iron detachable joints or asbestos-cement couplings.
