Scope

1.Lays down methods of test for determining pressure drop/flow characteristics of full-flow lubricating oil filters for internal combustion engines. 1.2 The tests specified in this standard are intended to measure the performance of a filter and its filter element in relation to the design requirements indicated in 4.2 and 4.3.
