Scope

This standard prescribes the requirements of hawser-laid ( 3-strand ) jute: a) lines of diameter 2 to 7 mm and with linear density from 6·4 to 34 kilotex; and b) ropes of diameter 8 to 48 mm and with linear density from 46 to 1 658 kilo tex.
