Scope

This standard prescribes methods for the estimation of small quantities of copper, iron, manganese, chromium and zinc in all kinds of textiles. The methods of test prescribed in this standard are applicable only if the total quantity of all the metals present does not exceed 02 percent (m/υ) in any one of the test solutions or suspensions.
