This standard lays down the requirements regarding material, construction and workmanship, performance and marking of pressure reducing valves of different sizes for domestic water supply system suitable for maximum inlet pressure of 1·722 5 MPa.
The valves covered by this standard are self-contained, direct acting, single seat, diaphgram type. Valves with integral or separate strainers connected to the valve inlet are included.
