Scope

1.1 This standard prescribes the requirements for seals used on vials, usually known as goldie seals. 1.1.1 The vial seals prescribed in this standard correspond to the neck finish specified in IS: 1984 (Part I)-1971* and the rubber closure dimen-sions specified in IS:3692-1975〓.
