1.Specifies dimensional, structural and environmental requirements for 2 440 mm high pallet nets to be used in freighter versions of high-capacity fixed wing aircraft and is intended to be used in conjunction with 2 440 mm wide air only and air-land pallets described in IS : 11499-1985 'Specification for air and air-land cargo pallets'.
1.1 This standard establishes four basic sizes of pallet nets as follows:
a) Size F 3 m — To restrain a maximum load of dimensions
2 440 x 2 990 x 2 440 mm.
b) Size G 6 m —To restrain a maximum load of dimensions
2 440 X 6 050 X 2 440 mm.
c) Size H 9 m — To restrain a maximum load of dimensions
2 440 X 9 120 x 2 440 mm.
d) Size J 12 m — To restrain a maximum load of dimensions
2 440 x 12 190 x 2 440 mm.
