Scope

1.1 This test method describes a procedure for the examination and evaluation of white mineral oils. 1.2 This test method is not applicable to oils containing additives soluble in dimethyl sulpho-xide that exhibit fluorescence or fluorescence quenching properties. 1.3 This standard may involve hazardous mate-rials, operations and equipments. This standard does not purport to address all of the safety problems associated with its use.
