Scope

1.1 This standard prescribes the methods of test for vegetable tanning materials of all kinds and their extracts. 1.2 This standard covers methods of test for the determination of moisture, total solid, total solubles, non-tannins, tannins, insolubles, pH, colour, iron and copper content of tanning materials and their extracts.
