Scope

1.1 This standard ( Part 10 ) prescribes method for the determination of boric acid in natural rubber latex which contains preservative agents and which has been subjected to some type of concentration process. 1.2 This procedure is not necessarily suitable for latices from natural sources other than Hevea brasiliensis or for latices of synthetic rubber, compounded latex, vulcanized latex or artificial dispersions of rubber.
