Scope

This standard (Part I ) covers the methods of sampling and test for industrial effluents. In this part are covered methods for sampling and methods of test for appearance, colour, odour, total suspended solids, particle size of suspended solids, pH value, temperature, dissolved oxygen, biochemical oxygen demand, oils and grease, phenolic compounds, cyanides and sulphides.
