Scope

1.1 This standard prescribes methods for deter-mination of tensile characteristic of individual textile fibres. 1.1.1 The methods are applicable to all natural fibres and man-made fibres including crimped fibres provided that the available length of fibre enables a gauge length ( effective distance between mountings ) of 10 mm or 20 mm to be used.
