Scope

This standard prescribes a method for the determination of colour fastness of textile materials of all kinds and in all forms to the manufacturing operation designed to remove vegetable impurities by a treatment with sulphuric acid at high temperatures. The method is mainly applicable to wool and textile materials containing wool.
