1.1 This schedule ( Part II ) is applicable to standards for carbon steels when it is necessary for the steel to be supplied to a composition within reasonably defined limits. This schedule is not intended to be used as a standard. 1.1.1 This schedule may be used for ordering steels provided no detailed specification is available for the particular steel.
