Scope

1.1 This specification covers a range of fixed lighting fittings, of well-glass type, intended for use underground in mines where there is no flammable gas present. 1.2 The well-glass lighting fittings covered by this specification are intended for use with tungsten filament lamp with a maximum rated wattage of 100 W and voltage not exceeding 125 V.
