Scope

1.1 This standard deals with welded low carbon steel cylinders intended for storage and transportation of ammonia ( anhydrous ) gas, of nominal capacity up to and including 130 litres water capacity. This standard lays down the requirements for the material to be used in the manufacture of these cylinders, their construction, marking and testing.
