1.1 This guide lays down a test procedure for evaluating the useful life of round enamelled wires having bare wire diameter of 0·25 to 3·35 mm inclusive.
1.2 This standard does not apply to round or rectangular wire insulated with fibrous insulations, such as cotton or glaass fibre.
