Covers the basic requirements of material and dimensions of valve fittings for gas cylinders for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG ) having a water capacity up to and including 5 litres. The standard covers the following types of valves:
a) Valves with taper inlet threads, Type A;
b) Valves with parallel inlet threads, Type B; and
c) Valves with their bodies directly welded to the cylinder, Type C.
