Scope
Bl This standard establishes the method for determining the content of aromatic hydrocarbons in petroleum distillates, free of butanes and butenes. B-2 This method is applied to petroleum distillates whose bromine number is not greater than 20 and whose 90% distillation temperature, determined according to the IRAM 1098 standard, is not greater than 315°C. It can also be applied to products with a higher bromine number, as long as they are suitably diluted so that a value greater than 20 is not obtained in the determination.
