B—1: This standard establishes the characteristics of "yellow ocher pastes, made using mainly ocher or yellow artificial iron oxide which, by adding a suitable vehicle, are used to prepare oil paints. B —2 ready pastes are specifically appropriate for the preparation of ocher-colored paints or "composite" colors such as tan, olive green, etc. or for "toning" other colors to obtain the ivory, cream, beige, etc. They are used for painting outdoors and indoors.
