Scope
Bl This standard establishes the method for determining the octane number by the "AVIATION" procedure, applicable to the lean air-fuel ratios of fuels for use in aircraft engines. spark ignition. Given its operating characteristics, it is only applicable to fuels whose "AVIACIO" octane number is not less than 70. Note: Although it is not usual in IRAM standards to refer to foreign standards for consultation, the particular conditions with respect to this method make it advisable to consult the corresponding Manuals. the American Society for Testing Materials, as specifically indicated in the text of the standard.
