Bl This standard establishes the characteristics and test methods of colored pastes, made primarily using iron oxide which, by adding a suitable vehicle, are used to prepare oil paints, B-2 These pastes are especially Appropriate for the production of oil paints, colored or "composite" colors, such as brown, tan, chocolate, chestnut, etc. or to "tone" other colors, to obtain pink, beige, etc., which can be used for painting exteriors and interiors.
