1.1 The purpose of this standard is to establish a color code that allows identifying the nominal capacities of volumetric pipettes, as well as the nominal capacities and subdivisions of graduated pipettes. 1.2 This standard applies to volumetric pipettes, including those contemplated in the ICONTEC standard 2 052 and to graduated pipettes, whose capacities are indicated in tables 1 and 2 respectively.
