This Cyprus Standard specifies the sizes of openings for regrigerators, freezers, ovens, dishwashing machines and other household appliances, with the exception of cookers, built into kitchen cupboards as referred to in CYS 132. It also specifies the sizes of openings for drop-in cooking tables (drop-in hobs) in worktops. The preferred depth and width given for the built-in openings in the
vertical plane and the preferred horizontal depth given for the drop-in
1) openings are derived from the preferred modular dimension 6 M for
appliances, given in CYS 132.
