This standard specifies methods for calculating the thermal resistance and thermal conductivity of building areas and building components. Excludes doors, windows, and other parts with glass, parts that involve heat transfer to the ground, and parts intended for ventilation. The calculation method is based on appropriate thermal conductivity or thermal resistance design values for the materials and products involved. This method applies to areas and components consisting of thermally homogeneous layers (including air layers). This standard also provides approximation methods that can be used for inhomogeneous layers. However, if there is a metal thermal bridge in the heat insulation layer, it is excluded from the scope.
