Scope
This part of GB/T 2624 specifies the geometric dimensions of nozzles and venturi nozzles and the method of use (installation and working conditions) when installed in a pipeline to measure full pipe fluid flow. This part of GB/T 2624 also provides relevant information used to calculate flow rates and can be used in conjunction with the requirements specified in GB/T 2624.1. This part of GB/T 2624 applies to nozzles and venturi nozzles where the flow forest maintains subsonic flow throughout the entire measurement section and can be considered a single-phase flow. Additionally, each device can only be used with the specified pipe size and Reynolds number. This section does not apply to the measurement of pulsating flows. This section does not cover the use of nozzles and venturi nozzles in pipelines with dimensions smaller than 50 mm or larger than 630 mm, or with pipeline Reynolds numbers below 10 000. This part of GB/T 2624 involves a) two types of standard nozzles; 1) ISAl932 nozzle; 2) long diameter nozzle. b) Venturi nozzle. These two types of standard nozzles are very different, so they are described separately in this section. The upstream end face of the Venturi nozzle is the same as the ISA 1932 nozzle, but it has a diffusion section, so the position of the downstream pressure port is different, so it is described separately. The pressure loss of this structure is lower than similar nozzles. Both standard nozzles and Venturi nozzles have undergone direct calibration experiments. The quantity, distribution range and quality of the experiments are sufficient to ensure that relevant application systems can be based on calibration experiment results and coefficients with certain predictable uncertainty limits.
