- This standard specifies the performance requirements and test methods for mechanical lift arm supports in loaders, backhoe loaders, and skid steer loaders equipped with lift arms. Lift arm supports are intended to hold the arm in a raised position for machine maintenance, service or non-operating purposes. This standard also specifies the installation, installation instructions, storage and color of lift arm supports.
