This standard applies to architectural boards mainly used for internal and external wall bases, floor bases, roof bases, CA floors, etc. of buildings, and includes particles of volcanic glass deposits (whitebait, white clay, pumice, etc.) and their foams. This is specified for architectural boards that are composited with JIS A 9504 inorganic fibers and formed into layers using an organic binder (hereinafter referred to as volcanic glass multi-layer boards).
