- Scope
- This standard specifies the method for determining the adhesive strength of rubber and fabric under direct tension. This standard applies to materials to be tested that are uniform in thickness, flat or sufficiently flexible to remain flat under low pressure. This standard is particularly applicable to materials where the rubber layer is so thin that it is difficult to test by the strip or peel method. It should be noted that the experimental results obtained by this method are not necessarily related to the experimental results obtained by using the peel test method specified in GB/T 532 ((Determination of Adhesive Strength of Vulcanized Rubber, Thermoplastic Rubber and Fabrics).
