- Scope
- This standard specifies the method for the determination of zinc content in rubber by atomic absorption spectrometry. This standard is applicable to raw rubber, mixed rubber and vulcanized rubber with a mass fraction of zinc above 0.05%. Samples with a mass fraction of zinc lower than 0.05% can also be determined by adjusting the mass of the sample or the concentration of the test solution. For samples with low zinc content, it is recommended to use the standard addition method for determination.
