- This standard specifies the test procedures for polymer poroelastic materials used to simulate natural aging effects such as oxidation or hydrolysis caused by moisture, and measures the relevant physical properties of samples before and after specified treatments. This standard is applicable to the test conditions of open-cell latex, open-cell and closed-cell polyurethane foam and closed-cell polyolefin foam, and the test conditions of other materials will be supplemented when necessary.
