- This standard specifies the pollutant limits for effluent, waste gas discharge and sludge disposal (control) of urban sewage treatment plants. This standard applies to the management of effluent, waste gas discharge and sludge disposal (control) of urban sewage treatment plants. The discharge management of pollutants from independent domestic sewage treatment facilities in residential quarters and industrial enterprises shall also be implemented in accordance with this standard.
