Scope

This standard specifies single-core insulated wires (hereinafter referred to as "flame-resistant polyethylene") insulated with a flame-resistant compound (hereinafter referred to as "flame-resistant polyethylene") mainly made of polyethylene resin, which is used mainly for wiring of general electric facilities and electrical equipment below 600V. (referred to as electric wires).
